I wanted to thank everyone for the emails, emotional support, prayers and gifts. I have finally updated my diary.

 

I was compelled to post my recent entries as well as my before and after pictures. Many of among us are suffering, my mailbox is full of such stories. Many feel the need to open up and share their story. For some reason sharing helps one cope with such devasting illnesses.

 

I feel very fortunate that many of you, whom I've never met would step up and supplement my support system. I have written many times about the ability we have to effect other peoples lives. I am thrilled to know that in my writing, I did indeed touch many people.

Everyday I read another story from a reader who never posted on MC, never sent a review and never hired an escort but silently kept tabs on me and are now participating in changing my life. I am surprised and flattered. I'm posting this only to show that the opportunity to change other peoples lives for the better is constantly there and we may not even know it until it is necessary to lean on those very people for support.

 

Things are looking up for me, the second round of experimental treatments seems to be helping. Only two weeks on it and I'm now able to raise my legs again. The emotional support from the MC was something I COMPLETLEY DID NOT EXPECT.
