Greetings from San Antonio.

 

It is with much anticipation that I announce the premier of an MTV documentary entitled "Sex 2K : Escorts."

 

The 30-minute program was created to give an insight into the world of male and female escorts. In addition to my efforts, I am aware of two other young ladies they included in the special.

 

While I have not yet had an opportunity to preview the show, I am confident that I interviewed well, and hopefully shed a positive light on the industry. As they filmed me in San Antonio last January, I will be curious to compare my present philosophies regarding the business with those I held in early-2001...I believe I may be a bit more reserved now.

 

I am proud of the positive influence I have on many of my clients' lives, and often refer to the fact that I am not ashamed of the business. While most of my friends are aware of my profession, the decision to participate in the investigation required a heavy dose of confidence, and I am a trifle anxious regarding the reaction of my colleagues and acquaintances.

 

The documentary is scheduled to air the evening of Thursday, January 24. Please check your local listing for times.

Bryan BABY! I am watching real world and just saw a click from the show. From knowing you and your elequant way of expressing in words what we do, I don't think they could have picked a better spokesmodel. I saw a promo for this show tonight. I hope that they focus more on male escorts than female. Though given MTV's audience I feel it will be more of the women. Also, I am aware of production and traffic issues though this sat on the shelf for an entire year. I am really curious why.

Although I've never had the pleasure of meeting with Bryan, he came off very professional. M-TV made the job seem quite glamorous with all the shots of him shopping in boutiques and upscale department stores (Sax & Neimans). As a young M-TV viewer (male or female) it would make me want to quit my job tomorrow and become in escort as soon as possible. But the job isn't always as glamorous as it was portrayed on screen tonight.

 

For example - the female dominatrix that was eating her Chinese food while here male slave watched. She then spit her chewed up food into a dog bowl and made her hooded slave eat it. Not so glamorous!

 

My phone rang and I didn't catch the last two minutes of the show. Did Bryan get arrested?

Bryan, great job. You travel even more than I used to. So which is the best, and the worst, Red Carpet Club in your opinion? Layout those past and present philosophies for us.

I must say I was very impressed by Bryan's performance. Very gutsy to indirectly brag about your income (albeit without quoting a specific figure). I hope you report a good deal of your income to the IRS, or they may be knocking! I'm curious as to how you got arrested when the vice pig tried to get you to discuss sex for pay without success? If this case is over, you could do a great favor for your fellow escorts if you described the situation from start to finish, and what you learned. Could the arrest have been avoided? When escorts or clients have asked how to avoid these situations in this message center, I have suggested giving a big French kiss upon meeting. Might that have worked in this case?

What strikes me most about the documentary is how little, today, I can remember of the personalities of the two female escorts. MTV, to my mind, overedits to the point where it's like processing food, and people's personalities tend to get compressed, diced or bleached out. I've never met you, so I don't know if that was the real you that came across, but SOME you did come across; there was a spark there; whoever I was seeing was compelling. I think, as others have said, that you carried yourself well. The documentary itself was kinda superficial but you did good. :-)

 

I watched it over at a friend's house, with some people who are NOT the twink-loving type, and when you first came on they predictably groaned, but you really won them over as the documentary went on. They liked that you played the piano; they could tell you were educated; they loved that you'd lived in Amsterdam. They were riveted by your arrest account (I'd love it if you could talk more about it, as others have requested). By the end they were basically saying "good for him." As do I. Good for you.
