Hi Guys:

 

Most of you who might be interested will likely find out about this from another source, so I wanted to be the one to let everyone know what's going on. At this time, this is all I know:

 

On Wednesday, Jan. 9th, officers from the San Diego Vice Dept. came into my office and apt. simultaneously, and seized all records, paperwork, and my computer. I am not at all certain what they were looking for, or what they thought they would find, but I'm sure I'll find out soon enough.

 

I want to make it clear that I have not been arrested, nor have any charges been filed.

 

Needless to say, for the time being I will not be doing any business.

 

I've barely slept or eaten since that time, but I am sure I will get through this one way or another. Any moral support, love and encouragement any of my friends here on this board may be able to offer would be most welcome during this very difficult time.

They couldn't enter your home and seize your property without getting a warrant from a judge and serving it on you, which means you should have a copy of it. The warrant should tell you in very specific terms what they were looking for.

 

Your clients who visit this website would probably like to know if the materials seized by the police contain anything that could identify them.

The warrant itself should list what the scope of the search is (items being searched for), but it is the affidavit that was provided to the judge or magistrate that would say what the probably cause behind the warrant is.

 

Dave I am sure many who have used your services (as legit as they may be) are curious as to what type of information (if any you maintained). For instance if you have email addresses or copies of old emails on the PC then it is POSSIBLE the police could try to track some folks down via that. However, in general, police focus more on the escort and the manager then on the clients (which may or may not be fair in general).

 

Having said that, Dave please know I wish you the best. I am sure this is a trying time for you, but try to remain calm, focused, and for gods sake SLEEP AND EAT! I know this is hard but don't lose your health over it.

We never met, but let me add my sympathies to those who have known you. I hope that this passes over fairly quickly. I can understand what with the seizure of your computer and, perhaps, advice from your attorney not to discuss the case, that we might not be hearing from you as much or as quickly as we would like, but I hope that you are taking what comfort you can from our fellow feelings, warm wishes and prayers. And by all means yes - do keep eating and sleeping!! And it would also be good to start seeing a councillor if you can and haven't been already. You are probably feeling quite a lot as if you are being raped by the system, and as much as your friends and we would like to help you, don't be surprised or demeaned if you find that councilling helps. I am saddened to hear about what happened to you. Given what I do, I never believed in holding someone accountable for victimless crimes. I worked for a service in New York that was raided also, so I fully commiserate. I realize that there isn't much any one us can do for you, but know that there are people out there that do feel for you.
