This is a quote from the review by hotmale @ hotmail "I emailed him the next day thanking him for a nice time and asking him to send me some of the photos I took with his camera. He fired an email (which I still have) back at me saying that his rate was $200 (per his website), not the $150 I gave him – particularly since he let me fuck him. I apologized saying that I only referenced HooBoy’s review, which stated that his rate was $150 AND that he was versatile. He emailed me back saying that he wished I would’ve accessed his website which he spent a lot of time on, and that he still had a good time."

 

Branden's response was very kind to this reviewer. In fact, I feel it was too kind. The reviewer clearly states that the reason he paid Branden $150. was based on HooBoy's review. Well, HooBoy's review states Branden's rate at $1,500. plus travel. In reviewing the rate of all the reviews posted for Branden not one is less than $200.

 

Why should an escort have to swallow his pride and apologize when the reviewer is so blatantly wrong?

Sometimes it is not worth it. I think Branden is just being smart and know it isn't worth it.

I think Branden's response struck just the right note. His apology didn't actually mention the fee dispute at all, but rather focused on his having been late and on thanking the client for his critique. In other words, where the client may have been justified in feeling less than enthused, Branden copped to his own responsibility. Where the client was clearly wrong (you've already cited the evidence), Branden let the obvious speak for itself and didn't rub it in, which was not only graceful but probably smart, since the client stated in the review that he was still considering hiring him again. Besides, it's probably not worth it to come off sounding argumentative with a mixed review from a five-time reviewer. Better to take the high road like Branden, in a way that suggests he views these reviews not just as a marketing tool, but a learning opportunity. I'd say he showed why he's probably a great escort. I'll find out for myself when I see him in Houston later this month (I've already emailed about hiring him when I go home for Xmas)... :9

You're right that Branden was very polite in his response. I found it VERY classy.

 

Branden and I agreed that we were both at fault in not verifying the rate. The FIRST review that was published DID say $150. When Branden double-checked, he found that I was right and had Hooboy correct it. THAT'S why he didn't mention it in his response.

 

Also, the $1500 overnight that you referenced was published after my August meeting with Branden. So I didn't misread his review, and I didn't try to rip him off.

 

$150 is not an unheard-of rate, particularly for those just getting started. Examples, porn star Chad Hunt was $150 when I first saw him (in expensive NY no less). Michael in Columbus (review submitted, not yet posted) and Buddy Jones in Orlando (review coming) are also at $150 and are FANTASTIC.

 

I really did have a nice time with him and thought I submitted a positive review of Branden.

I personally thought both the review and response were well-written and focused on important issues. While the review pointed out negative aspects of the date, it also focused on the positive performance of the escort.

 

I felt Branden's response was classy and he avoided finger-pointing and didn't take a "blame the client" attitude.

 

I only hope that the responses in the message center are as kind and considerate to both the client and escort. They seem to have worked through any problems as reasonable adults. I appreciate being able to learn from their experience and hope to avoid similar communication errors in the future.

Thanks for jumping in with the extra info about the fee mixup. You're right. If the fee never got discussed then both parties goofed (actually this would be true regardless of what HooBoy's review stated Branden charged). The good news is it sounds like in the end, both you guys were cool about it and now seem to be on the same page about what happened and why.

 

I also emphatically agree that $150/hour escorts can offer phenomenal service. No prize for guessing how much I charge...

In the NEWEST REVIEWS section, it clearly states that the rates and stats may not be correct.

 

Clients, do NOT base your rate/dick size expectation solely on this information. Clear it with the escort - and don't blame the escort when either turn out not to be so. We are relying on second hand information submitted by some guy the escort may not even remember. Rates tend to change, age tends to remain the same.

I'm sorry to see that myself, his respons was too kind for me. First of all not paying the right fee is very bad but then screaming like a little girl right here on a review after he said he had a good time, that guy is just fake and just like to loose his time saying everything and nothing.

The "fee" question should not be a problem anymore, it should be deal just before the appointment. I today still have some people saying " oh I thought your fee was "$150", and I always have to reply " which review's number did you read ? about 2 years ago ? there are enough information on Branden's reviews to not mistaken.

Thank you all for the kind words you said on my behalf. I would like to clarify that I had a great time with my client, and in truth I was wrong for being late. As far as my rate is concerned, I did have the listing changed to $200 the day after the review was posted because the former client had mistakenly quoted an incorrect rate. It truely is not a big deal,and was only wondering if he had actually viewed my website. Escorts put a lot of time into creating their websites and work very hard on them (examples- Vegasboy Dave, Stephan Lacoste, Talvin DeMachio, Mike Stephano, and Brady Younge) I look to each of these guys for inspiration and have learned much from their sites. Not only about the format of good sites but about them as individual people. I have tried to put as much information on my site as possible about me as a person, my rates, and my preferences. There is much to learn from an escorts website and it is only fair that they be read, and considered as much as the reviews that are posted about each escort.
