After a BAD Review of an Escort,....Why does it seem

that a few days later they get a RAVING revie from someone?

 

(Sorry guys, if I have posted this in/on the wrong section)

 

But, anyway, it just seems to me that within 5 days (of a BAD REVIEW, or a NO-SHOW), or less, a RAVING review of that same escort is posted. And, (here I tighten the noose around my neck even ore so) the majority of the time the "NEW" review is by a FIRST TIME REVIEWER.

 

I don't wish to upset anyone, but I've noticed this pattern, and wondered.....

The phenomenon you point out has been a subject of discussion on this message board in the past. The consensus seems to be that at least some of the glowing reviews that show up soon after a negative review are fakes. In general, it's not a bad idea to take any review by a first-time reviewer with a grain of salt, especially when it follows a negative review and there has been no reply from the escort in question.

Damage Control mostly

 

Nine out of ten times it's probably damage control; some of those contrived and some probably made by satisified clients on their own initiative or at the behest of the escort. The other one maybe be unsolicited and legit -- my guesstimate anyway.

Most of us keep up with our reviews. POssibly after getting a bad one, an escort might go out of his way or at least put a bit more effort into it to get a really positive one in his favor.

A really good example of this is Peter from Atlanta (to clarify, he is not Nick!) He had a bad review, threw a little queen fit about it, and then lo and behold a glowing review showed up.

 

The 'bad' reviewer said things about Peter that were true: that he is a queen. Having met Peter in real life, I can tell you that it is true.

 

He said Peter was overweight and out of shape. That also is true to a certain extent. Peter is by no means in the great shape he was in when he was a dancer at Swinging Richards, but he is not unattractive by any means.

 

But a terse positive review should up afterwards that was basically a rebuttal of the prior review. It was more than likely posted by Peter himself.

It is a fact, that everyone who posts a review here is, at the beginning, a first time reviewer. And as many have pointed out here, it is a good idea not to "bet the ranch" on the accuracy or objectivity of a first time review. But it is also true that a first time review may be quite accurate. My first review was of the very first escort I had ever hired. The escort had never been reviewed here before. The same was true of my second review. Essentially, I think any review needs to be seen at best as a subjective account of one person's experience, and not as a "factory warranty". I have also seen instances where escorts received numerous positive reviews, only to find out later from folks here at the message center that a much ballyhooed escort may be more trouble than they're worth, due to a variety of factors. So much of hiring escorts is a matter of personal taste.

 

That said, I often agree with Beware of Nick, and I appreciate his efforts at pointing out problems with escorts he's hired or familiar with. Hiring escorts, like just about anything else, requires doing your homework and knowing that there is always the risk you won't be happy with the end result. So far, I've been lucky with my choices.
