As the year draws to a close, I wanted to take the chance to list my top 10 escorts for the 2001 year. My recommendation is based on the following criteria:

 

1. Has a track record for performance with clients both physically and mentally.

2. Has shown good communications with clients.

I will post some more reviews in a few weeks (perhaps in 3, as I have to finish some other things). I did not think it necessary to do a play-by-play account of each. But I will fill in the blanks soon.

 

I have been trying out some of the other agencies, and want to offer a more first-hand appraisal of the services vs. guys working them. Unfortunately in Moscow there is a HUGE turnover of escorts in agencies. I could recommend one Monday, and by friday he works elsewhere. This is why I have hesitated on some.

Before we start nominating for "best", why don't we vote on categories? Best Top, Bottom, Twink, ManlyMan, Furry, Smooth, whatever.

Guess I'd have a bit of a quarrel with this being described as a 2001 Top 10 Escorts, mainly for the same reason others have stated: that it's not realistic to rate folks you've never seen personally as escorts. A better way to describe your list would be your personal wish list of the ten escorts you'd love to have a session with.

 

As I peruse your list, I see a number of names I'd also love to spend time with. Basing your rating purely on reviews posted on Hooboy, in most instances I think you would be pretty safe. That said, at least one name jumps out at me that I'd have serious reservations about, but I won't say which one, because my information on that escort is second hand at best, but from someone I trust, and that escort has very positive reviews here.As a matter of fact, when I first started visiting this site, I was really turned on to the notion of hiring the escort in question, but he wasn't based in my area. I had even gone so far as to consider flying out to where he was located just for the purpose of hiring him. Then a friend here at the message center shared some pretty disturbing background on this guy and I knew I was no longer willing to take a chance with him. So perhaps the lesson to be learned is that as helpful as they generally are, the reviews here can be inaccurate at times, due to a host of reasons, including life changes the escort may go through that make them less desirable now than they were at the time they were reviewed.

 

And as it stands, I've only written two reviews and haven't been with any of the guys on your list, but several of them I consider "friends" because of a non-escort relationship I enjoy with them. And as human beings and friends, they're awesome. Your number one pick is a case in point. :-)

 

And now that I think about it, I sent email to one other escort on your list who never replied, so I'd be more reluctant to make another attempt to contact him.

With all respect how can you or anybody actually vote or rate an escort they have never been with? That would be like submitting a fake review or voting in the Oscars based on what a critic notes not what you ahve actually experienced. PLUS (trying not to sound too negative here) aren't we a bit too early for this entire thread? We haven't even hit halloween yet!

I welcome the idea of voting in categories, and am interested in the results of several areas. One is the "area" idea mentioned, and another is "best bear". I also think you should also vote only for those you've actually personally experienced.

 

Based on that, I doubt that I won't be on anyone's best of list, having restarted my career so recently and being based in Houston. I predict that not only will Houston not win best area, but I strongly doubt if any masseur or escort in Houston will win anything. And, believe me, I think we have some great guys here, but geographically we are so far from just about any other major city that there isn't a lot of cross polination, so to speak.

I agree that you would need to meet a few escorts, before you can begin to even rank them. I also feel that the escorts should be in catagories ex; Best all around TOPs. Best Leather/Dominant TOPS, Best all around Bottoms, best Vers..ect ect...because it seems to me that the Vers/Bottom guys get all the credit but to someone like me they have to be a dominant TOP so a Vers/Bottom guy being ranked the best escort does me no good.

I'm not so sure personal experience is necessary. It's best, of course. But based on input here and through reviews, from reviewers and posters who have tastes similar to mine, there are several escorts I haven't met yet but would feel comfortable voting for.

 

I do think it needs to be categorized. There is a wide spectrum of appeal on many levels, and choosing one "best" to represent them all would simply be unfair.

 

And I'm not so sure bottoms rule the roost. Buried somewhere around here is a discussion about how tops predominate in the escort world.

I agree to put them in catagories and I also feel you need to meet before you judge. I doesn't make sense for someone to "rate" and escort just based on "hearsay" you use that info to hire them and then you can rate them ..Thats why you write a review about them AFTER you meet them and not before.

As I mentioned before I do not see the validity in voting for anybody you personally have not hired. If I were an escort I would not want a tainted vote and I would like to believe that the escorts reviewed here (especially the regulars) would appreciate a vote based on first hand knowledge and experience.

Nope. Reviews remain evaluations of 1:1 encounters. Period. No more, no less.

 

But it *is* completely possible to develop a mindset based on reading this site such that you might or might not be likely to hire someone.

 

That is very different from a review.

 

I agree this thread is too early, but it gives us the chance to thoroughly bash through the peripheral issues like categories, etc. :o

 

Of course, I know for sure we'll bash through the same issues once the real voting starts. x(
