His pic was hot, no face but the copy promised an incredible face. He shows up. This was not the guy in the pic. This was not the same body...or he needs to update his pic. I never pay up front. I'll have the money sitting out if it's the first time I have hired someone, but I wouldn't give it to him until he's ready to leave. If someone was trying to rush out of the door 10 minutes after he arrived, I certainly wouldn't pay him his full fee; then again, I always have a discussion up front what the length of the session will be (at a minimum).

 

If someone shows up and is blatantly different than advertised, send him away with NOTHING. However, if you're just disappointed because you didn't do a thorough enough pre-screening and *hoped* for someone different than the man at your door, you at least owe him money for his travel.

Pete's been using the same picture for at least 2 years. I saw him way back when, wasn't sure whether the picture was him or not, but without a face it was hard to tell. I visit LA several times a year for business and usually have some down time between meetings or a free weekend. I have had absolutely great and positively awful experiences. The bad ones I chalk up to bad luck, poor planning, my horniness overcoming my common sense, or outright deceptions.

Last time I was in LA (before this site existed), I found myself with an unplanned free day so the night before I called several ads. Nobody called back. NOBODY. I called several more later that evening.

 

Out of (I think) a dozen or so calls placed, I got TWO callbacks. The first I rejected. Too many limits. Fortunately, the second callback ended up being perfect and we had a wonderful time together.

 

I've never had that high a ratio of non-callbacks in any other city. Now, of course, I'd start with reviews on this site and I suspect the ratio would improve.

I have had the same problem of no call-backs. So, I usually start fairly early, make a call, and allow the guy fifteen minutes to return it. If he doesn't call within that time, he probably won't call. So I call another. Remember, the guys with the biggest ads have the most invested and are the most serious about it. The smallest ads are guys who are doing this on the side and don't call if they have something else to do. If I don't get a call back until evening, I go over to Numbers. After 9 or so there are usually some nice guys there who are escorting.

Hey guys, this is jay in la. I am sorry you had such an awful experience, it happens from time to time. however you should never give the full money upfront. Either have it out where the escort can see it, or perhaps jsut give him half.

I prefer to see it somewhere and then just pick it up at the end. One should not pay for a service that one never gets. Regarding the callbacks, please keep in mind that some of us have lives outside the escorting biz. We are not always able to return calls right away, either because of personal engagements or because of other appointments. If i can't call within the hour, i usually don't call back; i think i might be rude for calling so late, or I figure you have gotten another person to come over. 95% of the time i call back within five minutes. Just keep in mind that sometimes we have other stuff to do. It is best to plan ahead of time so you dont have the problem of trying to find someone at the last minute.

I'm sorry that you got caught in the Vinnie Marino/Acosta/Carlito trap. I did too some years back when I was in LA on business. (He has GOT to be the same guy, as the fuckin' MO is the same..) LA is full of people like that who will take advantage of a horny client. After my own "session" with studboy, I felt cheap and lonely. The only good part about the experience is that I never got myself into similar circumstances, nor I think you will either in future.

I, too, have had a similar experience with an escort in LA. When my original date cancelled, I connected with Frontiers guy advertised specifically as a bottom, but when he showed up, he said he was "too sore" and wanted to know if I "wanted to blow" him. When I offered him $20 for his cab fare, explaining that I contacted him for what was promised in his ad, he asked for $50, citing his usually $200 fee. So I offered him $10. I cannot believe an escort would try to leave in 10 minutes, thinking once he/clients cums, his obligtion is over. Cannot believe a client would allow this to happen either.

 

Most rates seem to be clear that $xxx.00 is the hourly rate, $xxx.00 for overnight, and so on, with a clear time parameter. I've never seen an ad that states "my rates are $200.00 per orgasm". So, when I spend time with this escort, and I don't cum, I don't pay?
