Dancers at Remmingtons (Toronto)

Just wondering how's Remmington doing lately. When I last visited Remmingtons in Feb /01, it was pretty quite - the dancers were complaining about the lack of business. Has business picked up since early this year?

 

Are there any particular dancers I should try out? I remember this Dancer (Derek, he's got a bullhorn tattoo on his right chest), we spent a lot of hot times in the private booths. I hope he is still there.

 

Any comments will be appreciated.

I decided to fly up there in April for a work/vacation to dance and I had an excellent time and I did pretty well monetarily. Thurs-Sat. was definately the best times...also the upstairs is only open on weekends, which gave more room for customers I thought. I found everyone one, staff and customers alike, were quite friendly and easy going (I even ran into someone I had seen back when I was at premier!) As far as dancers, I would recommend any of the hungarian or Russian ones...they seemed to get the best responses from the customers. Or, if you plan on being in town Jan. 14-21, I will be appearing there with two of my Dallas friends as well.

just got back from a 3 night remingtons visit...monday night was very slow, tues night was very busy, and a good amount of dancers. wed night was also full with at least 25 dancers. a lot of dancers are coming from montreal because it's even slower there. you should insist on not paying $20 dollars a song, a lot of customers aren't paying up due to the economy and if the dancers aren't willing to deal with you, let them stand and look pretty.

I'm not surprised Christian is not there any more. I thought he would get bored and tired of it relatively quickly. He seemed like a very nice kid, but he could really tell some whopper stories that were obviously not true. At least I got to spend some fun time with him away from the club on my two most recent visits to town last Nov and Jan. Apparently I was his first "private". :-)

 

Since I will be there over a weekend it should be quite busy then. Sundays are usually a little dead, but Friday and Saturdays are usually packed.

 

How exactly does one negotiate the per song charge? I guess I'm pretty much a pushover and just pay what they want...but it means I'm a lot more selective who I go with than I was in the past when it was only C$10 per song. I always feeling like I'm offending them if I refuse to pay the asking price and that the "service" won't be as good. Do you just say something like "I'll pay you C$40 for 3 songs"?

yes, jason, i certainly watch and limit my spending on beverages in

uncertain times like these. my point is that dancers will freely tell you that they have trouble making the money they would like. the customers just aren't taking them upstairs nearly as much as before due to the increase in lapdances from $10 to $20, and now the

uncertain economy and stock market thrown in. i've seen you during your last visit and am sure you will do just fine. i do think you'd do even better if you would accept a little less money and be upstairs more instead of downstairs just talking and "looking pretty".

First of all, let me apologize for my tone in my previous...I was having a bad day that day and I let it out on my posting instead of a more appropriate place. I hope I did not offend you. Regarding dances, I'm sure I would make some more money if I agreed to provide private dances for less than the house charge of $20, but personally I would rather stand around and socialize than be paid less than I am worth. If no one was getting dances from me at the current rate, I would probably consider working for less..but fortunately I do not have to. Also, you have to take into consideration that I'm a visitor from the US and the exchange rate, approaching 1.60, makes those $20 dances actually more like $13 dances for me. So you can see another reason why I do not choose for less. Once again, I'm sorry if I was rude in my last post and I look forward to seeing you when I am there again!

i don't mind you standing around socializing. you are nice to look at and gives me some cheap thrills. i am all for you getting paid what you think you are worth. i am a strong defender of the capitalist system; just remember i as a consumer and you providing me a service simply have to agree to a price acceptable to both of us.

i too am a frequent visitor to toronto from the states so certainly understand what you're saying about your earnings being diluted when you exchange your money back to US dollars. i know it seems i am getting a relative bargain with my US dollars as a consumer. having friends in toronto i know they resent us yankees "ruining it for them with the dancers with our freespending ways due to our strong dollar".

so "when in rome i do as the romans do". i also want a bargain when i can get one. that's why store's keep having sales.

i definitely hope to make it up to rems the w/e you and your friends are there in jan. the only thing that will keep me away would be bad weather for travel. you'll know who i am when i try to take you upstairs for a few lapdances.

There are always a lot of hot and goodlooking dancers at Remingtons, specially on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. There is always a good variety of guys. Different sizes, shapes, looks. Something for everybody. Generally, guys are friendly. But sometimes, you encounter somebody who is a bit pushy. Most of the dancers are regulars. But sometimes, you see new guys or those you have not seen for a while. The shows on stage are always entertaining. They vary from, sexy, erotic, sensual, so-so, to whatever. Lap dancing can be interesting, depending on the dancer you pick. Remingtons is always busy with a lot of customers, regulars and non-regulars. Gaiety dancers get regular reviews. Unfortunately, we do not see a lot of reviews for Remingtons dancers. (calling on aspiring or potential reviewers...) But, maybe we can share information or reviews through this forum. We might even avoid disappointments (and wasted $$$).

Just visited Remmingtons last fri. It was the best time I had for quite sometime, but very expensive with the private dances. The quality of dancers (looks and bodies) have certainly improved since I last visited in Feb. I find the Russian and Hungarian dancers much better, their appearances are less artifical (more body hair) than the regular dancers there (just my opinion).

 

All of the dancers I spoke to agree times are bad right now - the customers are not willing to pay C$20 for a private dance (about 5 minutes for each song). Pretty much all the dancers are willing to give you deals if you pay for more than one song. The best deal I got was C$40 for 4 songs (C$10 per song), but make sure you don't tell other dancers who (which dancer) gave you the deal - they are suppose to charge the standard rate. I find most dancers are willing to charge less only if you ask upfront (before you go into the private booths and once the action begins).

 

Most of the dancers I spoke to are available for private shows (in your hotel room). The going rate is C$200 per hour and there are specific limitations on what you can do - no oral or annal from them, but you can suck them off, it's pretty much a muscle worship session.

It's interesting that the going rate for guys at the club is C$200 while the going rate from that agency we often see boys reviewed from is the incredibly cheap C$120. Frankly I think that's probably lower than it ought to be. It's especially interesting since the boys from Remington's won't do much interactive, while the full blown escorts will do pretty much everything for less money.

 

I paid more when I was in town (C$250) for my sessions with Christian, but that was closer to 1.5 hours and I was so in lust with him I didn't mind paying. He even let me take a couple of nice photos of him the last time.

 

I'm really looking forward to my trip and helping to support the local economy. :-)

I just returned from my weekend of shopping and sex in Toronto. As always the time flew by too fast. I have submitte reviews of two boys that do not work at Remington's that should be up soon.

 

Remington's was definitely busy and there was a real horde of dancers this weekend.

 

Friday night started off rather quietly, but picked up later on. There are now something like 8 Hungarian guys working there. Many of them have rather limited English skills, but all of them have great bodies and seem pretty nice. I personally fell for "Yoki". He's a bit bigger and a bit older than I usually go for, but he's very handsome and super nice. His English is also quite good which means you can have actual conversations with him beyond the "would you like a private dance" variety. And his table dances...holy shit! The most fun I have ever had in the upstairs. He gets hard fast, will do pretty much anything you want, and really gets into it. He made me feel special and I grew rather fond of him over the course of the weekend. I'm certain he also does privates away from the club, and I have no doubt he would be a lot of fun in my hotel room. Maybe on my next trip I will find out.

 

This is going to be a very long post, I can tell already. Another Hungarian highlight is this guy called Janos. Small, lean, very well defined and very well hung. Seems a bit shy and unsure of himself but looks like a sweetheart. I didn't get to try him out for a table dance.

 

I had several guys out and out offer me privates. I have never experienced this before. In the past I have always had to ask. But Leonardo and Brody both tried very hard to get me to take them back to the hotel. I fianlly spent a little time upstairs in the back rooms with Brody. He's let his hair grow in a really cute way these days. He's very outgoing and fun and he's got a great body. But he also has a really annoying laugh! He seems like a nice enough guy, but he's also a bit of a hustler.

 

Unfortunately it was not until after my time with Brody that I saw one of my old favorites is back to working at the club..Austin. A very cute young, slim guy with a big dick and warm personality. He's also a bit flaky unfortunately. I was really lamenting having spent almost all of my entertainment money for the night before he arrived. He told me he would be back Saturday night, but he didn't show up. Which was too bad. But maybe next time. I also saw Marcel again who I had not seen for a quite a while but who is also working again. He's slimmed down a bit and looks great. He's also a very smart and quite nice guy.

The 40 year old strippers (Pete and Willy) are still working there. I guess they must be making enough money or they wouldn't do it, but they're always so aggressive it really turns me off...

 

Saturday was a bit more crowded. Unfortunately on Friday night and Saturday they were trying out a new system instead of having each guy do 1 fast song followed by a naked slow song, each guy did one fast song, then another guy would come out and do another fast song and so on for about 5 guys and then they'd go through the cycle again with slow songs. The dancers hated it and this customer thought it was stupid. It really seemed to get in the way of the guys doing lots of table dances since they always had to be ready to go back up for another song on stage. Basically I think the idiot emcee guy just wanted to hear himself talk and show off with his cordless mic. Lots of guys kept missing their cues because no one was ready for it and it was just too much on and off. Ridiculous.

 

Chi Chi Larue was there on Saturday. I guess she was in town for some sort of circuit party type thing. She didn't perform or anything, just made a grand entrance.

 

Saturday also was my first sighting of a boy with real star quality. He goes by the monicker "Panther" and has this animal shtick thing going on, but the boy's a total looker. Needless to say he was very popular and seemed to be working the early shift for some reason. He only started a couple of weeks ago. 20 years old, about 6'3 or 6'4, extremely ripped lean body (wants to be a personal trainer), and just a stunningly handsome face. I was in awe. I finally managed to spend some time with him on Sunday evening when things were a little more quiet. Seemed to also be a very nice guy. Whenever he was in the room most eyes were on him. He could basically pick and choose who he wanted to table dance for. He could definitely be a model. I asked him which underwear company he models for and he told me that it's something he would like to do.

 

I also spent a little time upstairs on Saturday with a boy called Jade who claims to be a martial arts expert. He also aggressively offered to do a private over at my hotel. He claimed to get C$500 per private plus tips. He also seemed a bit too much of a hustler for me. He's very cute though and has a nice lean little body.

 

There didn't seem to be as many Montreal guys there this weekend. And there also weren't as many guys of my "type" there altho obviously I was kept plenty busy. There are always several guys there who are pretty much interchangeable looks wise as far as I am concerned. Mid-20's, muscle-y, dark hair. They could all practically be brothers. :-)

 

The other big news is that women are now allowed in the club on Sundays. It's a very different atmosphere. It's quite boisterous. Lots of gay guys and the straight girl friends who get very drunk and really whoop it up. Many of the dancers I talked to really didn't like it and prefer the more laid back cruising of other nights. Some of the other dancers really ate it up though.

 

I hope I didn't bore you all with too many details. I'm glad Austin is back at least from time to time. I hope to see him again on my next trip. This kid Panther is amazing, and I'm sure he's making a fortune. But my highlight was really meeting Yoki. I'd marry him tomorrow if I could. :-)

 

The rest of you who spend time at the club should give us your impressions of what you like and don't like. I enjoy just sitting and taking it all in. It's a good place for people watching. There was also a ton of very cute customers there this weekend which was also fun.

I also saw Panther dancing tonite - he's got one of the most ripped bodies (six pack abs!!) I've ever seen. Too bad, most of the regulars were all over him - no chance for me to get near him. I can see he's one of the most popular dancers there.

 

Some words of advice:

Remember to keep tabs on the number of songs when you have private dances - it could get quite expensive with $20 per song. The best way I find is to work-out a price (i.e. $40 for 4 songs) before you go into the private booths. Business is very slow right now (especially on Mon - Thur), so most dancers are welling to work out deals (only if you ask upfront). You can always tip a stripper afterwards if he's willing to do extras (j/o or oral), but again you should ask about limitations before going into the booths.

Ya know maybe I'm just too nice, but I paid $20 per song. I also am pretty good at keeping track of time and controlling myself. I figure for my American $$$ it's still a good deal. I only did 3 songs the first night with Yoki, but I gave him a $20 extra because he was such a hot time. I also tend to be very selective with who I "dance" with so that helps.

 

Panther is definitely popular and was kept very busy the two nights I saw him. Luckily Sunday was a little less busy. I think he works early, so maybe if you get there before "rush hour" you'd have a better chance. I also sat right near the "back door" so when he came back down he would see me and I could grab him. Besides having that amazing body he's also a pretty nice kid. Doesn't seem to have any attitude like you might expect. He told me it was slow on Sunday and I was his first big-spending client of the day and that no one spent more than 1 or 2 songs with him. I don't know how you could limit yourself to such little time with that incredible body of his...just rubbing those ripped, hard abs is so much fun!

 

Friday and Saturday night were both packed and there was a ton of dancers there each night. I figure if they weren't making any money they wouldn't all be there. But the competition is pretty fierce. The rooms at the back were often all filled and the front ones were also in use. Talk seemed to be that Thursdays were picking up too and maybe Wednesdays.

Hey guys. Has anybody seen Zach lately? He previously used the name Sebastian too (not the Montreal dark-haired guy). He is blonde, about 5'8", about 140 lbs, maybe 22 or 23. He always danced to NSYNC or Backstreet Boys songs. I have not seen him anymore at Remingtons. I talked to him several times but was not able to go out with him.
