Antonio (LA) Response to Negative Reviews

Antonio from LA has recently received two negative reviews. In his latest response, he claims reviews #3 and #2 are written by the same person.

 

I know HooBoy has increased the verification of IDs in an effort to catch potentionally bogus reviews. I personally feel HooBoy's actions are thorough and adequate.

 

Do others believe these reviews are from the same client or is Antonio just making excuses?

I have a lot of respect for HooBoy and certainly sympathize with all of the headaches he must go through running this board.

 

Quite frankly, I dont think there would ever be a fool proof system from having manipulative clients write bad reviews, or jealous escorts writing bad reviews on other escorts, or clients who just post whatever the escort writes or escorts who write reviews to help their friends get their start. I am not even certain there is any reason to worry about it.

 

HooBoy has done everything he can to maintain the quality of this board. He takes reasonable precautions. Is the system foolproof? No.

 

Now, I will admit that my system is not foolproof either. I take risks on new escorts. I give people a lot of chances some times. I help people long after every chance has been used up. I have been known to overlook a drug problem. It may take me much longer than it should to give someone credit (my apologies to Tony Dancer for taking a year to add him to my site after having a few problems with some "porn star" types...Tony and his boyfriend Pacer are truly two of the nicest and sexiest people you will ever meet).

 

I get a lot of satisfaction when someone enters the business and succeeds. Just a few years ago many guys who entered the business took the time to learn some of the tricks of the trade from someone who was already successful. All too often new escorts take shortcuts. Unfortunately, these shortcuts will only work for a short time.

 

If 80% of an escort's income is from repeats there is very little need for much in the way of advertising. The successful escort will have achieved an 80% repeat rate in about a year. Keep in mind for some escorts 4 clients may be all the clients wanted and others may have a hundred or more repeat clients.

 

The business of escorting has become very competitive. There is a considerable amount of incentive to vent jealousy or anger. The best thing for a client to do is to take all of the available information on all of the available escorts, toss in a grain of salt, season to taste, add hormones, and then decide what to sample.
