Losgatan,

Thanks for the kind words. Proud we share the same initials and mindset. But, can only hope we don't look alike. One fat and ugly me is enough in this world. :-)

Based on the nature of this site, I would assume that most of you do not have a problem with the concept of posting escort reviews. Personnally, I have found this issue to be quite a dilemma. Here are some of my thoughts both "pro" and "con":

Con: On the assumption that an escort provided you the service that you contracted for (i.e. the escort did not try to scam or cheat you), WHO ARE YOU to pass judgement on them, for all to see? Ever hear of "do onto others as you would have them do onto you"? How would you like it if escorts had a web site (available to the general public), wherein they talked about YOU -- your stamina; your weight; your endowment; your breath; your level of intellect; etc. In all fairness, it is wrong for you to say anything negative about them, unless you are prepared to "take the heat" in public about your own limitations and/or weaknesses.

Pro: The arguement above is a bunch of crap. The escort has chosen to put their time up for sale, and therefore has subjected themsleves to scruitiny, such as the reviews contained on this site. If you want to sell a product or service, you have to be prepared to have that product/service reviewed. If escorts want privacy, they should choose another line of work. This site is a great value both to escorts and their customers, as it rewards escorts who provide quality service, and helps prevent customers from making mistakes.

So what do you think????

I totally agree it is "OK" to submit escort reviews. However, I've also established the following ethical guidelines for my reviews:

1. If the escort has never been reviewed, I usually ask their permission to submit a review. (I don't share the content with them. I only make sure they don't object to having their e-mail and description being listed on this site.) If the escort has already been listed, I do not ask permission.

2. In those instances where I feel the escorts actions are harmful, dangerous, extreme, or unsafe I will submit a review without prior approval.

3. Try to be objective and include specific examples.

4. If submitting a negative review, include at least one positive statement about the escort. Everyone has at least one good point worth mentioning.

I personally would NOT want someone to review my sexual performance. But, I'm also not in the business! ;-)

What is the real purpose of this thread? There doesn't seem to be any controversy about this issue, which was apparent from the get-go in your message -- so why pose the question?

JD,

I subscribe to your four points also.

However, I have no problem being reviewed as a client. IMHO a client is not reviewed for sexual prowess -- we are not the pros. However, we should be reviewed for our client qualities: do we show, are we clean, respectful, courteous. Do we keep our agreements, was our communication clear and adequate. I'm sure there are other points to include but it's late.

Ready sweetie, Stop taking life so seriously, you're gonna give yourself a stroke or something. It amazes me how easy it is to ruffle someone's feathers on this board but then again LOOK AT THE SOURCE!

Hell yes, post your reviews. This site is an excellent

resource for men seeking services of escorts. Out of the dozen

reviews I have received, only one client has asked for my

permission to post and I know the identities of two of my other

reviewers. I kind of like it that way. It's kind of like the

"secret shoppers" we used to have when I worked retail. Keeps you

on your toes.

What is the real purpose of this thread?

I think it is an interesting topic. We've gotten some interesting replies, esp. JD's.

And so far, two people took the time to reply questioning "why are we discussing this", which in itself says something.

I have a theory related to the question I originally posed. I plan to share it, but first am interested in seeing what/how other people think.

If an Escort wants to be reviewed yes its fine, if an Escort doesn't want to be reviewed then no its not OK. I personally don't want to be reviewed on this site. I make it very clear to my clients that I do not want to be reviewed and if they make an appointment with me and then turn around and write a review I will hunt them down and break their legs. I also make this very clear before meeting them. I feel its an invasion of privacy. And don't give me that I'm a public figure bullshit. What goes on in my home behind closed doors is my business, its private and confidintial. If Hooboy has a brain in his little head he'll never post another review of me. Just my two cents!

I, too, would not post a review of an escort if he did not wish to appear here, unless something really egregious had happened (such as being physically threatened). If an escort is already reviewed here and I had a positive (or at least generally positive) experience, I feel free to write a review. I generally don't negatively review guys when I feel like I just didn't "click" with them, as opposed to them having some serious performance or attitude problems.

Tampa Yankee,

Great points!! I honestsly wouldn't mind an escort reviewing my CONDUCT as a client and not my sexual performance. The escorts take a real risk during the initial meetings because they know nothing about us. I can see where it would be helpful for them to verify if we show up, respect time limits, and treat them as a person and not a piece of meat.

Maybe if more people financially supported this site, HooBoy could afford to add a client section.

Next time I hire a new escort, I'm going to refer him to this site and suggest he search my posted reviews. Hopefully that will give him verification that I'm a serious client and will give him a better idea of what I like.

I've also found it interesting to see if reviewers are consistent about the way they describe themselves. I bet more than one escort has been surprised when their "perfect" client showed up a little older and fatter than described!!

Scary? Yes the site of me standing on your front step with a baseball bat about to crack your knees would be scary I suppose. But as I said what I do in my home or behind closed doors better stay there. If I choose not to have my sexual habits exploited on some web site people better respect that decision or suffer the consequences.

Guess this means that anyone interested in seeing Sean should just do in-calls and never divulge a home/work address. Unless you like getting hit with a baseball bat!

Don't escorts have to advertise "publicly" to attract clients

with whom they conduct business? I believe your privacy ends

when you choose a fake name, place an ad and/or create a website.

I greatly appreciate what this site has done for my business. I

was spending nearly $800 a month on advertising up until last year, but now I spend a 1/4 of that. Granted, most of my clients

are regulars, but many of my new clients have read my reviews

on this site and decided to check me out. Plus, many clients

don't go into sexual details. They can review you without doing

so.

Sean is my real name Jeff. Yes I do advertise publicly. But that doesn't give ANYONE the right to share their private experiences with me without my permission. It is invasion of privacy no matter how you want to look at it. I had 13 very positive reviews on this site before I asked Hooboy to remove them. My site is very well placed on the net. I don't need this site for advertising. My site receives over 5 thousand hits a week and I pull about 10 to 15 clients a week. So as far as this site helping or hurting my business is just nonsense!

Sean, Jeff is my real name also and I'm truly happy to hear you

are doing so well. I guess I just don't understand where you're

coming from on this.

I hire escorts myself, but having discovered this site, I would

think twice about hiring someone who hasn't been or doesn't want

to be reviewed here.

When I'm reviewed, it's not my "sexual habits" that are being

aired, but those of Jeff the Escort. My personal sexual practices

are quite different from those with my clients and I'm quite

capable of making the distinction between the two. I'm very

proud of the services I provide and welcome the reviews.

Jeff its a personal choice, what is so hard to understand where I'm coming from. Just as you welcome the reviews I don't want them nor do I need them. Its not that difficult to understand.

Sean,

I too am a private person and can certainly understand your desire for privacy. That is why I support getting an escort's permission before submitting a review.

I applaud that you make it clear to your clients that you don't desire a review. That way there is no misunderstanding.

I suspect that in the world of sexual fantasties and hiring of escorts, the clients often assume a certain degree of ownership. We need to remember that we don't "buy" an escort -- we only "rent" their services for a specified period of time. After the session is over we have no business encroaching on their personal life or identity.

But, I also know that professional "friendships" can develop between client and escort(such as an older client mentoring or becoming a role model for a younger escort). However, these should be initiated by the escort and not "assumed" by the client.

Sean, I don't understand why you're getting blasted by others. Privacy is your preference and right.
