Hi Guys maybe you answer this question which REALLY bugs me i have seen enough pictures of escorts and a majority of them in the US as well as here in the UK suffer from what i could call a less than 100% tan situation,now i realise that most guys who are in the escort business get naked on a daily basis and as it seems to me to be a successful escort you need to have a decent body and also not to be shy about showing it off ,but this seems to be affected when getting an ALL OVER tan there seems to be an abundance of "white bits",now i would have thought that getting naked at the beach or the tanning shop would be the LAST thing that would make an escort go shy.!Thanks BIG A(at the beach cos its sunny)Brighton UK

Let me take this opportunity to expres my own little dissent here. Enough with this taning craze already. Some guys seem to think tanned skin is erotic. To me it looks dry, puffy and leathery and it *feels* dry, patchy and leathery. I am not calling for deathly palour, and I think coal-black skin is hot, and I love the cinnamon skin of southeast Asians. But where Caucasians are concerned, exercise, work out, but beach tans? Yech!

 

And as for the tans from tanning studios -- double yech!

Many of us love a tan line (tan except for the bikini region)and a few years ago all the porn stars had one. The ideal, in my opinion, is a golden tan rather than a dark one. Blonds have an advantage in being able to get truly golden tans.

I agree, but for somewhat different reasons. It continues to amaze me that a tan continues to be considered the ideal when we know today how deadly the sun and other sources of UV rays (e.g. tanning beds) are to our skin. Having had the unfortunate opportunity to watch a 25 y/o die of melanoma due to sun exposure, I will gladly remain lily white than to chance going through what she went through.

Skin comes in wonderous colors, and I particularly like sweet milk skin. Why people turn delicious skin into dried leather is beyond me.

I agree completely with the comments about tanning and skin cancer. Tanned bodies look good because we have been conditioned to think so. Is it attractive to have a very dark body when you have blond hair? No. However we have to be realistic and realize that a slight golden hue makes people look healthy (a myth). As to tan lines, I prefer one. I don't think completely tanned bodies are more attractive.
