Give Kirk another chance? No... I don't think so. Read his "apology" yesterday and just chuckled about it. He's very articulate and literate, which was apparent from our conversation after a fast and truly terrible play session (said he hosted some extreme sports show on cable TV back in Canada), so the eloquence of his apology didn't surprise me. The "top designers, artists" and such whom he refers to as satisfied regular customers must have incredibly low standards as to what constitutes satisfying sex-- or, more likely, they are fictional creations from Kirk's fertile little mind.

I don't know Kirk nor do I profess to speak for him or anyone else other than myself.

You are so on target Matt. It is a totally different dynamic with a dancer. Poor Kirk has always struck me as a little schizo. Well, I'm not one of the offended and if I were my thoughts might differ...

 

But I'm of two minds over Kirk -- I don't appreciate being ripped off and I might not want to have a second helping of that dish.

 

On the other hand I do believe in redemption and believe the opportunity should be extended, albeit with caution. And the first step to redemption is the self-realization that it is needed -- one interpretation of Kirk's message.

Also, traveler has such a way with introductions, that I might be willing to let bygones be bygones, that is if I had a bygone here. And it should be clear to Kirk that engaging in old practices would pretty much be the kiss of death as far as restoring his reputation.

I agree that all people should be given a second chance ... if they're truck drivers or financial analysts or waiters ... but why would I want to take a chance in the field of escorting?
