Since New York Observer was gone this weekend, I decided to offer my review. This is, of course, my opinion of this past weekend's show. I am not as easy on the dancers as New York Observer is and I will be much more brief. In fact, I did not feel all of the dancers in this week's show were worth mentioning. I'd gone Friday night which was an interesting crowd with some new and not so new faces. I noticed more and more girls are showing up at the theatre. They seem to like sitting in the front on the right hand side. Sorry girls, this ain't Chippendales. I think girlfriends of the dancers in the audience is creepy and annoying. Although it's interesting to see how a dancer will react to girls there and is a good hint of which dancers are straight, but the special attention and interaction can get nauseating. There seemed to be a group of girls who looked like prostitutes at Friday night's show and were raising eyebrows.

1. Austin. Very hot but very straight, another one from Montreal. He doesn't do anything so I find him a waste of money.

2. Mason. Another straight one. Ditto.

3. Jay. He was a hottie but I didn't talk to him. He looked new.

4. Thomas. He is one of the regular performers who, as you probably already know, sweats profusely. He's become a monster of a freakishly huge size and obvious steroid use. I've been with him once and found him a total waste.

5. Cody. He is another regular whose performance is getting old and very redundant with the same song he's been using for like a year. Never mind the huge cock. He is straight with too much attitude and from what I understand even worse in private.

6. Damian. He looked to be of African-American descent. Fortunately his performance wasn't as bad as last week. He looked like he was not as confused about what he was doing.

7. Pavlo. He looked to be of either Egyptian or Indian descent. Ethnic diversity is definitely needed at The Gaiety, but unfortunately the white dancers seem to be the most popular.

8. Chris. From Baltimore and highlight of the show. He's gay-for-pay but has a handle on it which is rare. Chris is one of the most likable dancers and has fans young and old. Two younger guys I noticed were particularly smitten with him. Chris puts on a good show and relates well with the customers which is how he's gained respectable popularity.

9. Jeremy. He is straight and a waste of money.

10. David. He is another French Canadian, 21 years old, but very very sweet. He claimed he was gay and would do a lot. I was tempted, but I didn't go with him. I would love to hear from anyone who has been with him.

11. Fredrick. He was average to me. I didn't find him especially interesting.

Tragically hardly any barefoot boys this week New York Observer. It must've been because they knew you were out of town. You need to scold them. Oh well. Maybe it'll be better next week when you're back.

dunky,

thanks for keeping the weekly Gaiety review going. I am sure it would have been missed by a lot if you did not pitch in for NYObserver this week. But anyway, I hope you were not (that) disappointed with the show last weekend. Maybe the show next week would be better. Also, I did not know that women come to Gaiety. I have never seen women at Gaiety when I was there. Don’t they have their own places to go to? Anyway, I hope you don’t mind if I ask for information about some of the dancers you described. Can you email me at tim755@hotmail.com? I would like to see some of the dancers but would like to get your advise first. You seem to know some of them well. Thanks.

Thanks for the brief and supposedly accurate review. It appears that the Gaiety is mostly using re-treads when it comes to dancers. I enjoy NY Observers reviews but they do tend to be overlong and that makes makes me just skim thru them. Your review was brief enough to enable me to read all of it. Interesting that you didn't mention Mark Woolf?? Any particular reason?

>FYI, Mark Wolff started Monday, he

>wasn't there last weekend.

>I'll write a sentence for

>ya in my review.

I have a better idea. When the Wolff in asshole's clothing is performing...don't show up! An empty house will quickly show Denise and all the others that are taken in by this alleged creepazoid will send a clear message that he is not a welcome sight and certainly not an attraction.

A sentence is too much for Mark Rolf...or whatever his name is.

I first would like to thank you for your review, and let you know that I did have a chance with Jay, and must say that, he has the most incredible as that has ever. I was very straight forward with him, and let him know I was a total ass man, and what I liked, and I will say he DELIVERED.......... all and then some...... very nice guy, ...... I would book him again, in a heart beat.....

Weekend review of Gaiety

About the previous reviewers comments about Austin, a regular at the Gaiety (originally from Montreal):

I have been with Austin privately a number of times, including traveling with him all over the US and Canada. I have found him to be extremely fun, smart, sexy, sweet, and tons of fun in bed. Like most things, it all depends on chemistry. But please don't assume that he's a "straight jerk" -- because he's not.

Hope you'll review the dancers on a more regular basis. While grateful for NYO's reviews I'm sure a lot of guys would rather hear if a dancer is straight and a waste of time (and money), than what he wears on his feet while dancing. Your evaluations are succinct and to the point. Thanks!
