Does anybody have any feedback about the following escort ? He uses AOL screen name Vglmuscle12 and sends out photos I know to be

Derek Russo. I wonder if anyone has had experience with this gentleman... he sounds

nice enough on the phone, but asks for airfare and half the fee to be sent by Western Union

ASAP and is reluctant to provide references.

 

Any input would be appreciated.

If I understand correctly that he's using somebody else's photograph and wants airfare and half his fee before he makes an appointment, he might just possibly not be totally honest.

Well, I'm not at all sure that the photo is not his, but I find it strange that I can find no

references or reviews about him anywhere. I asked for references and he agreed to have one of his clients contact me, but only one. If he is

on the up and up I'm going to be disappointed

if I miss out on meeting him, because he seems

so hot; but at the same time, asking for money

to be wired to someone who has no "presence"

online on any site is disconcerting.

Uhhhh, he doesn't bill himself as Derek Russo online; he simply sent the pics, and I said in surprise, "Derek Russo?" or something to that effect, and he simply replied, "why yes".. And I'm supposed to take THAT as the gospel truth??!! He could well be, but I personally find the whole thing suspect. I find that most

famous figures out there are more than willing

to identify themselves in a screen name or profile if they are looking for biz...Plus, there are NO reviews to be found out there of an escorting experience with him... It's hard

for me to put my finger on it but something just

seems to be wrong with this picture...

I would only follow through if you are fully prepared to see your money go up in smoke just to play your hand in this card game. Could be an expensive hand!

Well, word of warning to you guys --I have found out now that this man IS a scam artist. Thank GOD I took the time to investigate him. He is getting tons of money each day from unsuspecting online guys. He has the funds wired to Mexico, where he cannot be effectively prosecuted by U.S. authorities. Beware Vglmuscle12@aol.com He's a total fake. Now if only I could find the REAL

I totally agree with you. I stumbled across him on aol chat line but smelled a scam - and told him so. Of course, he was quite indignant.

 

My question is, for me (and perhaps others) and for future reference should need arise: Just HOW did you go about to "investigate" him?

I think the best way to "investigate" them is, first, to see if any reviews have been written

on this site, or if they are discussed at all on

other sites such as muscleservice.com Logbook.

(I tried both in this case) Failing that, one

way to try to evaluate would be to contact a reputable escort in the area they claim to be

from, and see if they've heard anything about

them one way or another. This is actually how

I first got wind that he might be a scam. Of

course, it would have to be an escort you have

a very good rapport with, and who would not take

offense that you are looking at another escort <G>

 

Another way, if you have access to AOL, is to simply hang out in the chatroom of the city where

the guy claims to hail from, and ask around to see if anyone knows the scoop on him.

 

If you find nothing (good or bad) through any of

these means, I'd say the best thing is to simply

write him off for sheer lack of references.
