Sorry Marco, I don't buy your rationale for not giving the guy a full refund. In fact I don't buy or respect most of your justification.

 

You said that when you opened the door you knew there would be a problem topping the (obese) guy. At that point you should have been candid. If it wasn't going to work you should have told him so. Honest candor I respect. Avoidance I don't. Do you think the guy's self esteem was any less harmed by your admitited dismal, half-hearted, limp performance?

 

You owe the guy the full refund. As soon as you agreed to proceed, to be a professional escort it was on you to perform. The token $50 that you returned is a total cop out and keeping the $100 is nothing more than greed on your part. Your time only has value if you perform.

 

I agree it would have been better if the client had mentioned his obesity over the phone. But his omission doesn't excuse your accepting him as a client once you saw him in person.

 

An escort has every right to determine who he will accept or will not accept as a client. If an escort is turned off by fat guys, feminine guys, old guys, whatever, so be it. There should be no hard feelings on anybody's part.

 

But once the escort accepts that client, unless the client then starts behaving like an asshole, a reputable escort has the obligation to either perform or to give the client a 100% refund and leave it up to the client to determine if any fee should be paid for the escort's time.

 

The honorable thing to do is to locate the guy, apologize for leading him on, and give him back the rest of his fee.
