What happened to AOL Gay Classifieds.....

Periodically, I would go to the "Classifieds on Q" section of the "Gayboards" on AOL. I have not visited there for a while and yesterday, decided to pay a visit. Either it is no longer there or I couldn't find it. You could go to the "Escort/massage" thread and read the various ads from escorts,etc.

Does anyone know what happened or where this forum is now located? Is it possible that they just deleted it or am I doing something wrong?

I went to the above address and DID NOT FIND the OnQ message boards from AOL. You say that they are no longer on AOL. Were they just removed completely or were they moved to another place on AOL? The address that you led me to is NOT an AOL address.

 

I was especially interested in the "Models" section and "Escorts" section of the classifieds. Obviously, I know that these were strictly for AOL members but I found them useful and would like to find them again.

Ken: OnQ and AOL were unable to negotiate a mutually acceptable agreement to continue the forums on AOL. So once the old ageement expired the boards were removed. I've checked out the mygay.com site, but have not been able to locate an escort's section.

 

This is a major loss, as it was a convenient way for clients and escorts to hook up. While this site is very useful (God bless Hooboy!!) it does not serve the same function.
