Where are the good hustler bars in NYC? I've heard that Stella's is a good place. Any comment? Does anyone know any of the regulars there that could be recommended. I love guys who are Latinos, very well-hung, and lack attitude.

I asked the same thing a few days ago and was tipped off to Stella's. I understand there used to be a few others in the midtown area but since that Nazi showed up, well, I guess that's it. I've heard of a place called Julias' or something like that in the Village. I've never been there but apparently it is (or was) an escort haven. There is, if you're a sugar daddy, the Townhouse on the east side. There's another bar/restaurant located with it. I hear that if you wear a fur and have a cigar you have to beat the twinkies off. But if hot Latino man meat is what you crave, Stella's might just be it. Oh, I forgot, Club Escuilita (sp?) located close to Port Authority (37th, 38th or 39th between 8th & 9th) where you can meet lots of Popi's and Mami's. I don't know about escort, but there's a lot of Latino dick there. I've been there dancing a few times and everytime had a GREAT time. Happy hunting!

Could you mean Julius? It is reputed to be the oldest gay bar in NYC. It has a real neighborhood feel and NO pretense of being fashionable. The hustlers who hang out nearby usually look like addicts looking for their next fix.

I know I've had that look on my face!;-) Anyway...thanks for the update. When I ask people from NYC this question, sometimes I think they're just going to cry. It's amazing just how much dark bars with back rooms are really missed. There's nothing I love more that making out with a stranger! Everyone keeps saying Stella's so...Stella's it is!

Escuelita is at 301 W39th btwn 8th and 9th. Lots of decent looking homeboys there, tho I could not help to notice that i was FRISKED before being allowed to enter the place. Not a good sign, but if it makes it safer, that's cool. They do the usual muscleboy contests hosted by bizarre but tolerable drag queens.

 

Hv not been to Stellas but I hear it's fairly sleazy(not necessarily a BAD thing.) Probably a lot like the QT used to be in SF before Warren bought the farm. Let us know what you think!

When I moved to NYC last year there was a bar on 11th street, pretty close to the Lincoln Tunnel, that was primarily for transvestites but I think it has since been closed. Anyway, I went once and it was loaded with hot Latino escorts; big beefy ones. When I went in, the bad drag queen working the door said that Liza and Madonna (Lizer and Madonner, as he put it) were going to be there later. I'm sure there would be numerous Lizers and Madonners as the evening progressed. There was, however, the occasional celebrity present, and never alone. If I had only moved to NYC ten years ago...I'd probably be dead!
