I was wondering how the recession has affected the business of escorting. An article in a magazine this week noted how cab drivers are complaining about making less money because people seem to be cutting back on cab rides. This made me wonder if things slowed down noticeably for some? Do you notice it only with newer clients, but not necessarily from regulars? It's still a business after all, but it's driven by needs that sometimes go beyond rational thought, so I'm curious if the effects have already become apparent.

I tend to browse the craigslist entries in my area and those i'm travelling through a lot. It appears to me that the Tampa Bay area has a LOT more listings lately. However other areas have dried up some

I started noticing a lack in massage clients toward the 3rd week in September. We had A gas shortage here and my business has yet to recover. Id say its down more than 25%

I had a thread up about the innumerable listings on Craigslist (SFBay area) some two weeks back; the sense is the same as the above!
