I have a young friend that wants to escort but not sexually, just provide companionship, conversation, etc. He doesn't want to advertise on places like Rentboy since most people using that service are looking for sex. Any suggestions for his best venue? Is Townhouse a good place? or Craigslist?

I'd recommend Craigslist or (never having used it) aol.

I'd also encourage him to be very clear in his ad, so as to avoid lots of unnecessary inquiries or disappointment on the client side. Lastly, I'd say he might not want to get his hopes up, I'm not sure what the demand may be. But I wish him luck!

Thanks Kevin. I'm not sure about the demand either but I thought it might be something fairly common, lonley people just wanting some nice eye candy with brains to go see a show with, etc. Will have to wait and see.

Some would call it a slippery slope - here's betting that he really does want to escort sexually but can't/won't admit it to himself.

Give him 30 days or less and he'll be sucking dick with the best of them.

And as for the market for what he thinks he is offering? Very slim pickins I would think. If some guy wants companionship and is willing to spring for a nice dinner and theatre tickets - why would he have to pay a non-sexual escort?

I seriously doubt the type of "Sugar Daddy" this guy is looking for exists! Very Rarely ever did! Unless he's young enuff to just get "Adopted"! HaHa

As far as chatting them up at the "Townhouse" goes, the minute the word gets around he "Does Nothing" for "Something" he can forget about that place! LOL :-)
