Here's a question for escorts... without getting into outing anybody, do escorts have a particular routine or policy for dealing with hiring calls from closeted conservative politicians? Although I imagine this would be a bigger issue for D.C. area escorts, small town politicians get caught in the toilet stalls as well, as we saw with the recent Florida case.

So, have you ever had a call from somebody with a very recognizable voice, or walked into somebody's hotel room only to discover a very recognizable face from the Evening News? How do you handle that situation? Inquiring minds want to know....

I started escorting in DC. Then moved to Baltimore, but still saw clients from DC.

Even tho I am not escorting, and I have no intention at this time to start again,I wont "out" people.

But, Ill tell you this one. I was stationed there in the Army when I first started doing it.

I was new, and my rates showed it. I charged 75/hour. Course I wash shy and didnt know my boundaries(read closeted) and I just plain didnt know better.

At this time, i didnt use pictures of my face, because well I was in the 3rd Inf. The Old Guard. Look up Arlington Cemetery for more info. Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Anyways, so this gentleman called me, and off I went. I jumped on the metro, and hit the blue line. Ended up at my stop, and met him. I walked up, and I saw the man who had hired me. Since he didnt know my face, I told him what I was going to be wearing and visa versa.

I walked over and to my surprise and humour(and his discomfiture) was my brother company's CO. Oh god. Here i am, meeting up with a captain that I see every fucking day, and it wasnt for coffee. yep, it was awkward. He was cute and young too, so it would have been even better.

Needless to say, he promptly turned around and left. The next day when I saw him, it was very...weird.

But I will tell you this. Before he transferred out 6 months later, I got him to blow me in his office in front of a picture of his wife.

It was hot.

Actually, once you switch from the networks to local news, you end up finding lots of really do-able hunks at the anchor desk and out on the beat... Some of them openly gay. NY1-News on cable here in NYC has been full of hot young men, some openly gay.

And who is going to turn down the bodacious A.C.?

And after you've had your way with A.C., you can turn your attentions to Thomas Roberts, Rob Marcianno (sp?) and that seldom seen since leaving CNN - Bill Hemmer.

Know any more?

He is gay and out. CNN did a whole interview with him where he discussed his sexuality and how he had been molested as a teenager by his Catholic preist. I think AC was the interviewer but I could be mistaken about that - fuzzy memory.

The strange thing is that since the interview, he has hardly been seen on any CNN program that I watch - almost as if he has been sidelined.

Pardon my ignorance - but what is "The insider"?

He is a hottie, isn't he. Also I understand he is in a LTR.

"The Insider" is one of those television tabloid newpaper-style shows. It is owned by Entertainment Tonight, and follows the same format. I don't watch it often, it is hosted by Pat O'Brien and Lara or Laura (?) Spencer and is moving to New York right now. I take it that is how Roberts was hired to cover the west coast. I just happened to watch it while waiting for the news to start. It is a syndicated show, so you have to check your local schedule. I suspect, however, that I may watch more often, just to see more of Thomas Roberts - and if he reveals his gay background.

Thanks also for the info. I had not seen the interview on CNN with AC.

Are you sure you mean the WEST coast? I understood that Roberts and his LTR (lover) were stationed in Washington or Richmond or one of the eastern seaboard towns and were well established and owned a house together there. A west coast assignment would infer that he had moved.

It also sounds as if CNN has dumped him (or perhaps he left for a better paying job). It looked like CNN had sidelined him after he came out, not unlike what they did to Bill Hemmer a couple of years ago. I thought he viewed himself as a more serious reporter and wonder at him joining the ranks of "fluff" entertainment reporters, who are not much more than gossip guys. But I guess you have to do what you have to do to put bread on the table.

Happy watching, wear a bib if you're inclined to drool:)

Hey Guys

Sorry it took me so long to respond, but tonight was my first chance to watch the Insider, as I have been working very late these days. When Tom Roberts did his numerous contributions, they said he was "their man in Hollywood".

Hope this helps, sorry for the bum steer.

So, would you say he has been reduced to the role of a gossip columnist? Next he'll be doing the red carpet at every award show.

Oh well - he's still pretty damn hot.

Two words: Discretion/Confidentiality! ABSOLUTE disctretion and confidentiality. They have taken a great trust in hiring an Escort and the respect of perserving their anonymity should be respected and observed. Aside from the public image of being famous, we are all still people and put our pants on one leg at a time. No need to get flustered... no need to ask for an autograph... that's not what the encounter is all about. Connecting on a human level is more the case. Provide service equally to the best of your ability. Be sensative to your Client's needs, Desires, goals and boundries. Offer yourself as an Honorable Companion and Friend. They are getting "Naked" with you on levels beyond skin. That's a Privilage and an Honor... be gracious in return. Good Luvin' is universal need.
