For me some local roasted coffee, organic half and half, 70% cocoa and non concentrate orange juice would be a few desires. There are some in the bedroom but I'll take those questions and or answers in private.

I'm with you on the 70% or higher chocolate yumminess, orange juice, coffee and lots of water. Some light snacks at least to replentish with after a good thump. Good nourishment = better performance. A few moments after flying in to "Freshen up" is always helpful. If possible keep flying time under 12 hours nationally and less then three lay-overs. Give more then one days advance notice for flying.

I agree, less conections is a good thing and less travel time however I should be ok with a old fashioned nap.

Naps are awesome! Especially when one can snuggle up to a nice furry chest. As for the connections when flying I don't mind the connections so long as I am not having to run from one end of the airport to the other, LAX and SFO are two that come to mind.

I once paid a guy to take a nap.

 

We'd been regulars for several years, and he was having a round-number birthday. I'd been racking my brains trying to find something truly unique as a birthday present.

 

It didn't occur to me until after we'd had lunch (pasta) and were both snoozy that a nap might be just the right thing.

Yes a nice furry chest to curl up to after some good play on a crisp fall day is so nice. I would have to say it is better then hot chocolate chip cookies.

Thanks for the replies !! :-) The flying time is 2 hours and it is around 7 :oo in the evening . I thought we would have dinner before going to my house which is an hour from the airport. I thought then when we got home I would give his fee and offer him the chance to shower and to freshen up and then afterwards I would give him some dessert on the back veranda and I would freshen up also and then we would take the weekend from there . Any thoughts ? This is coming up fast !!

While usually the gents around here recommend that you don't pay someone in advance, I can see how it is safer if he would have to go an hour to the airport and then wait for his plane. And more reassuring to him since he is so far away from home.
