I recently had a ridiculus experience with an escort and a client and wanted to ask what is up with bullshitting about qualifications and having pictures older than God that represent you. I guess i understand and expect that from guys who are just crazy escorts looking for drug money or whatever but i would think that people with sites and ads at rentboy which arent cheap, would have a clue

 

I had a crazy experience with a client of mine who is a regular guy and nice as anything. we tried to find the right escort for the scene he wanted and it was like The Apprentice !! My client asked if i would do some of the "shopping" since maybe an escort would take another escort more seriously. here is my experience- sometimes no one would answer my emails-sometimes no one would answer my calls - sometimes i got one liners like "yeah thats great" or "can do that" and I just felt like i was hanging there.

 

Guess this is what clients go through and what fun is that when you want to get laid or whatever u want to do. well finally we got a giuy who fit the bill and was capable of the LITTLE that was asked

and when this dude showed up it was lready not good. the guy was not what his pictures looked like but they were of him maybe 3 or 5 years ago. he wasnt bad looking but not what he said and my client is now paying both our fees and i thought that it wasnt worth it for him.

 

then the role play was just a total fucking mess actualy it was good from my point of view cause i had fun but not worth the money my client paid.

 

my questions are -

 

pics ? I have alot of pics on my site and they are dated and I update them every few months. since last year I think i updated them like 5 times. Is this too much ? one guy told me that I am "saturating" people with my pics and I should put out a few and charge for the rest. I am not naked in any of them and dont think I should charge for pics of me flexing. shit if you saw me in the street and asked me to flex i would do it and let u take a picture for free so why not on my site. please advise

 

stats ? ok i lied - i am not 5'11 i am actually 5'10. i think im 5'11 with shoes but maybe not. my waist is a 30 but my jeans are larger cause of my ass. i might shave 1 or 2 points off or on about my weight, height, etc but I will not show up with a keg instead of a 6 (really more like an 8:-) pak ! please advise

Well lets see. I am only going to really address the issue of people not being like their pictures or not being the person in the picture at all. Being a gay guy who uses the internet, as most gay guys do, to find hookups- I see this all the time. It pisses me off but I have not picked up on clues that allow me to judge who is and isnt real, and here in Orlando, anyone that looks too good to be true, isnt using his real pics. When it comes to escorts, I dont understand this at all. I know two particular escorts, who dont look like their pics and sometimes this is good, as I have been told i look better in person, thats because im not photogenic. Rarely is this the case. One particular escort, photoshops everything and thus looks utterly different in person, becasue well he has given himself abs, and a more toned body through the use of photo editing. Another instance, is a case right here in Orlando. This particular escort uses pictures of himself when he was like 18-20, he is now much older and hasnt aged well, yet many clients still say they have a good time. I dunno i would be pissed if someone showed up, looking like he does now as opposed to his pics. I doubt this helped any but I can sympathize with your situation.

I think changing out your pics say every six months should be enough. I shoot new pics for my massage ads here in atlanta every six months. I feel thats enough. a person wont change much in just 6 months. theres a few guys who post in the same places as i using pics that are 5 and in 1 case 10 years old..

For me, if I dont work out for a month or two, I shrink. Then if I hit the gym and eat I blow up within a month. Most people hire me cause of my muscle and I always want them to know exactly how I look.

 

If you see pics of me from Jan and then now you can see what I mean, but I understand thats not usually the case. I also deal with alot of peeps who are obssessed with seeing me bigger everytime so gotten live up to it withing reason.

Credibility is something that can be lost very easily, and by keeping your pictures current, you are making yourself credible.

Though I am not an escort, I hire escorts, and if I see hire an escort that does not use current pictures, I don't see them a second time. That's just the way it is with me.

If an escort wants a picture of me, then I send him my most current picture, but I tell him when it was taken. I don't like surprises, and likewise don't want to surprise an escort.

I am a person who likes a specific body type, so current pictures are important to me.

Thanks for posting this question. Have only done one hire so far, with two on the horizon. The first one was beyond my expectations. The other two will have to wait and see.

 

First let me say that I am a guy that could stand to loose a few pounds. I have my own image of myself, and learning that does not equal how others look at me.

 

But I like your honesty about yourself, and how you stretch things at times. I also loved your respect of your client and and how he saves up. I am in the same boat. I don't need sex every day of the week - though it would be nice. Like many others I am tired of game players on the likes of gay.com for "free" sex. I would rather look for those on such sites for a possible LTR. Another daunting task.

 

Something along those lines I would like to mention. In particular to those that look for clients in major metro/urban areas like NYC, DC, SF, Miami, LA, and the such. Not all of us are earning triple digits. We do save up we can to satisfy a desire, and are willing to pay for the right time together.

 

So I have turned towards escorts/companions/hires to cut through the BS. It allows me to spend more time in looking for right guy for me. I've tried that and it got me nowhere; I keep posting that I love classic sitcoms, but so far, nobody has hired me to watch "Good Times" (they seem to prefer to have a good time with me instead; go figure).

Well, the answer is simple: use this website! Read the reviews and do your research. And if the person has no reviews, post a question about them here in The Deli and hopefully, you'll get some help. Take advantage of the great resources this site offers.

I think you are right in that you won't hire him a second time. But many of these men are looking to be hired only one time, so using a picture and an expectation that they won't be turned away may be adventageous compared to truth in advertising and getting hired less.

We all know how good a guy can look at the end of a night and how bad he can look in the morning. Situations change the reaction someone is going to have. So if a guy shows up looking not quite as hot as he did in his on line picture but presentable, hell it is late, your horny and why not. And, if the guy does a good job, well maybe you will have him back.
