Lets see, I think my name has now gotten around lol but being a college student I have limited time to do business beyond hourly things. This doesnt really add up to the larger amounts of money, in which now i need due to many college things. MY question is this, while i cannot travel during the week I can on weekends. How should I go about appealing to a crowd looking to hire guys for longer trips beyond just hourly appointments? While not an escort--I did have a thought--while it is too late most likely for this semester--if you can arrange your class schedule so that you are either off on Fridays--or your classes finish early--or at the other end of the week off on Monday--or have late afternoon classes on Monday with the morning free--you may find it easier to travel on trips over the weekend. While I am not an escort, I do have some advice here for Brett as a potential client. I agree with what Purplekow said to have a bargain rate for weekends. I have imported Alex of Portand for several two day visits. His two rate is $1600. He is busy most weekends either in Portland or elsewhere, because you have to book him well in advance. He could probably command $2400 - $3000 from a few guys, but then his dance card would be quite open on most weekends. When you throw in the plane fare to Alex's time rate of $1600, you are at about $2000 for a two day visit...this cost, while certainly not inexpensive, is within reach for some guys like me every now and then for a quality escort.

To address each message sent to me, I like the idea of posting a weekend rate on rentboy, that could be a good idea, i will try it out. Classes, well i have no control over my class schedule, while yet I choose the classes I want, I go to a VERY SMALL, PRIVATE school so basically all of the classes required for my major are only avaliable on Monday, WEdnesday , FRidays. I hate it, i tried to book it otherwise but, no real choice. Over the summer I am hoping I can find an internship in NYC or Cali and hopefully then I will have time, guess it depends if i find the internship. AS to rates, well I would attempt to make a rate that is feasable for most guys, but Even my weekends are valuable so I think it would be a bit higher price wise than purple...at 1600

Another client perspective here--there are guys who are in a position to get to know you, as in hourly appointments (or possibly a little longer), and guys who live away from major urban centers who can't do this and need a certain degree of assurance that you're worth the gamble to hire w/o a prior meeting. Form your peers, it sounds like participation on the board will help in getting the latter as would reviews based on long appointments (you already have some, but more couldn't hurt).

 

My impression of Orlando is that it is a convention center (as well as theme park center) rather than a corporate HQ or hub for big regional offices. If that's true, I'd guess that the potential for repeat business among non-locals is limited, which would limit the guys who might go from hourly to full day or weekend clients. Some of us would argue that an hourly appointment is not an adequate way to predict how a longer appointment would go, but unfortunately, that seems to be a minority opinion.

I say you can do school and escorting well just be upfront and honest with the client asking for some time for some studys and also switch to internet classes. I just visited your blog, ad and reviews and if you want my honest opinion, I have to tell you that I like your pictures a lot. They are very different and they show many facets of your personality. Unfortunately the text in your ad is not as competent when it comes to presenting a whole human being. Nah... I didn't hear any voice, but I do believe that you could make it sound more as if you were trying to introduce yourself to whomever reads your ad, instead of a cold description. Remember that we are in a bussines where the only thing that makes you different and special, is who you are; there's always going to be someone with prettier eyes (although in your case that seems unlikely), there's always someone with a rounder butt, bigger cock, better abs, prettier, more masculine, younger, etc... the only thing in which you will ALWAYS excel is at being yourself. And you have to let us know who you are through the text in your ad.

 

Also if you think that you are capable of keeping a healthy relationship with the message centre, then you should be more active here. In the past we have seen escorts who come and either try to endear themselves to clients through pity, servile agreement, or open publicity stunts, and I would strongly recommend against that. Again, what will really drum up a lot of bussines for you is to show who you really are; what makes you special, what makes you unique. (Even if you piss off a few, even if you disagree with some, even if you are criticized.)

 

As for travelling, I would definitely recommend to write in your ad something like: "I love to travel and I am a great companion. I only have weekends free, but I would love to share them with you in a weekend of fun and excitement" (Of course, you use your style, but I think you get my drift.)

 

I totally agree with you in the fact that if your weekends are the only free time that you have, you should price them high enough so you would be thrilled every time you get a booking. I am sure Scott has already told you that, but there is always someone who is going to pay the price you ask. (If you have a good reputation and impeccable reviews.)

 

Lastly, I think that the best thing that you can do to get longer engagements is to keep doing your work with care and dedication, hope for good consistent reviews, and learn from the one hour sessions so when ever you start getting longer appointments you feel confident, competent, and comfortable.

 

It took me a little more than a year to start getting travel engagements. Now that's my main source of income. The only thing that you have to be aware of, is that normally travelling clients review less that shorter appointment clients. I don't know why that is, so as soon as you start travelling a lot, be prepared to have the number of reviews reduced dramatically.
