Probably best to agree with him on the date and flight time, then purchase the ticket yourself. He won'e be tempted to keep the money and no show. A postal money order does not need to have your name. And, of course the mail is safe enough for currency.

Beat me to it.

I would never send anyone money up front for a flight. Why risk losing the money, and esp when you can do the same thing for him. Dont risk it unless he is well known on here and well reviewed.

It all really depends on who needs to be anonymous and what airline you're using.

I've had clients send me cash by messenger that had to be signed for but mostly I give them my name going into it since if they're buying my airfare we're probably goign to be spending considerable time together.

There's also paypal.

My best recommendation though is that using American the escort can set up his flights and place them on hold and they get a confirmation number. They give that confirmation number to you the client and you can either over the internet or by phone call in and pay the ticket on that confirmation number.

Hope that helps!

Yup. It's a throwback to the days when we all used travel agents to book airfare. You used to be able to have an escort book reserve his flight and give you the number for his agent, and then you'd call the agent to pay for the flight. (And it was used for all sorts of business travel.)

I suspect all online flight booking venues will do this sooner or later. They finally all support booking travel for someone else already. (They didn't in the early days.)

Everything old is new again. ;-)
