In versus Out Calls

Is it my imagination or are fewer escorts offering to host "In" calls these days?

I was recently looking for an escort on a weekend day that I couldn't invite him to my place, and about 3 of my top 4 choices don't take In calls.

Is this a trend? What are downsides to both In and Out for escorts?

Personally I've reserved in-calls for people I've met a couple of times already and have developed a rapport with. As evidenced by these boards over the years, some clients or inquiries lead to deranged individuals that can approach stalking. Hindsight is 20/20 and the less personal information released is the best for most escorts I'd imagine.

 

On another note for me, with all my traveling lately I never have time to be home and clean. My place tends to fall to crap with piles of recently done laundry everywhere, suitcases scattered, and a bathroom full of tiny toiletries. I really only feel unjudged by people I am comfortable with because otherwise I'd be ashamed or worried to invite a new person over and never see them again

 

As to outcalls ... well the only downside to me is when they're more than a few miles away. If they're that far away in LA ... it can be a major pain in traffic. Another problem with outcalls is an unprepared client. Granted most escorts (including me) will bring supplies like condoms and lube with them everywhere but sometimes it slips my mind. As with most hosting or traveling etiquette, there are some things your host should provide. I've had a couple awkward situations that thankfully were remedied by a hotel gift shop but if a client doesn't tell me specifically to bring supplies, I put the focus more on being there and prepared for everything else.

In my home town I simply don't do in-calls, but I'm happy to arrange a hotel room. I found out that a 'neutral' place like a hotel room works great for this type of encounters when meeting a new client.

 

When I travel to the US I do in-calls at the hotel I stay. In cities like New York and L.A. I do more out-calls; in other cities more in-calls.

As a client I can't say that I have noticed such. Since most of my hiring is while on travel my preference is to have a guy come to my hotel room. Being in a strange city I am not enamored of trying to get around and finding an unfamilar address.

 

However, when I am home and I hire one of the traveling guys that come to this market I go to their hotel for an in call. At one time I was seeing escorts at my place from time to time but after a couple of strange incidents I decided to concentrate on the traveling guys and in calls.

 

In one case I hired a very well reviewed escort and the session went well. Fantastic actually, it was what happend at the end as he was leaving that gave me pause. The escort picks up his backpack and heads for the door, as he puts it on his back a set of brass knuckles fell out and bounced on my floor.

 

This was a bit of a shock for me and certainly an embarassment for the escort to say the least. The guy quickly swoops up the item and crams it in is pack heading for the door which I opened and quickly shut behind him. No, I did not hire him again.

 

Another time I caught a guy I had hired from an agency a couple times before rifling through the drawers in my bedroom after I came back into the room from the bathroom. I asked him what he was doing and he awakwardly stated he like my taste in clothes and wanted to see what I had. Well...why are you looing in the drawer with my wristwatch and personal effects? He dressed and left, I called the agency and told them of the incident. Profuse apologies were made by the owner.

 

Since these two incidents a few months apart some years ago I have not done out calls in my home city. I guess what I trying to say is that we all take risks in this kind of business. Both escorts and clients have to determine which method of appointment they are most comfortable. Obviously personal experience both positive and negative is going to have an effect.

 

Since I am mainly focused on the cities I travel to, thus seeking out calls to my hotel, I can't say that I have noticed an increase or decrease in the number of guys offering in-calls.
