+ BenjaminNicholas
After watching every available episode of this show, I feel like @purplekowand I could have had a ton of fun writing for it. Filmed in nearly an identical format to the old Columbo series, this accidental detective-murder solving series stars a very charming Natasha Lyonne and a massive roster of guest stars in each 26 minute episode. Literally, it's insane how many great actors show up in this. From the music to the titles to the editing, the show just feels vintage. It's a loving wink, for sure. Not campy. Just comfortably lived-in. This is the creation of Rian Johnson, otherwise known as the writer/director of almost everything now. thomas
leeper
I agree - it's a very enjoyable show and Natasha Lyonne is great as Charlie. If you liked her in Russian Doll, you should like this. As mentioned, it's like Columbo in format perhaps with a touch of The Fugitive and Murder She Wrote. The episodes I watched, however, ranged from 48 minutes to an hour long.
