Maybe it’s a personal thing but I’m not too bothered to get what I’d describe as ‘sex chat’ messages from clients or dick pics. Holiday snaps, ‘Happy New Year’ and that kind of thing is welcome. There are a couple of clients I get ecards from at the holidays. Due to changes in their personal circumstances they’re unlikely to hire anymore so we won’t be meeting on the clock, but I enjoy hearing from them and staying in touch. I remember, I greeted some clients with Happy Easter and lo and behold, a lot of gay men tend to be angry anti-Christian atheists.
