Guest
In my younger days, I thought I had made a lot of progress in my soccer skills when people started comparing me to Pele. They’d say “bnac, you’re pretty good, but you ain’t never going to be no Pele…” Edited December 30, 2022 by BnaC
arnemgreeves
In my lifetime following football, I've seen many GOATs. Ronaldo Nazario, Maradona, Ronaldinho, Baggio, Gullit, Van Basten, Klinsmann, Maldini, Baresi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Zidane, Roberto Carlos, Cafu, Schmeichel, Mbappe, maybe Haaland*, Platini, Batistuta, Henry, etc. But Pele was THE GOAT. THE absolute greatest. I wasn't alive to see him at his peak, but then he won three World Cups and not even Messi or Ronaldo would do that. RIP, good sir. *If Haaland continues his scoring form, he will be deemed a GOAT in a decade. More so if he wins multiple Premier Leagues, or joins a big Spanish club and wins La Ligas.
