Indeed, the fulfilment of a man and a country's dreams, but we may have also seen a glimpse of the future in the person of Kylian Mbappé, the tournament's Golden Boot winner, who is just 23 (he turns 24 tomorrow). arnemgreeves
Mbappe is a future GOAT no doubt. Messi eclipses the late, great Maradona in GOATness and also Ronaldo. CuriousByNature
mike carey
Australians are talking up our performance (probably drawing a long bow) by pointing out that the Socceroos played four games and won two of them. The two we lost were against ... France and Argentina. BSR, thomas, + Charlie and 1 other 3
EZEtoGRU
I'm thrilled Argentina won on Sunday. Nothing against France or Mbappe but I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the South American teams. Plus...what a way for Messi to complete his big tournament games. He always comes across as a really nice guy so I'm really happy for him. The celebration parade in BsAs was insane!! thomas
