Now that I am getting my second shot, I’m looking forward to getting back to receiving massages. Wondering who has said in their profiles that they are fully or partially vaccinated for Monkeypox. (Yes, even though I will be fully protected soon, I prefer to support masseurs who are taking this seriously.  I have also emailed RentMasseur requesting that they include a spot for masseurs to list that vaccine, as they did for Covid.)

Caleb is on it: https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/41456/

As is David:

who else?

Yes, best to be safe. While your vaccine will kick in to its fullest protection 2 weeks after the second dose, I don't know if this or any vaccine is 100% effective, so going to similarly vaccinated providers is prudent. Of course, people could say they are vaxxed just to get the business. Would you ask them for proof?

If I am going to ask for vaccination proof, I'll start with asking for proof of polio vaccination.  It's making a comeback, and is more dangerous than monkeypox or the coronaviruses.  While at it, might as well ask for proof of chicken pox and pneumonia vaccinations.  Don't want to catch either of those.  Come flu season, ask for proof of flu shot.

Polio vaccination provides pretty much complete protection from infection so if you're vaccinated I wouldn't worry about whether he was.
