OP note: I'm not sure if this is more political or it should be in the book section but it's about the leverage the Chinese government through investments has in the entertainment industry in the USA and specially in Hollywood, and how some high profiles backlisting stars like Richard Gere are good examples warning others not to mess with China. 

Richard Gere says he's been blacklisted in Hollywood because of Free Tibet views (smh.com.au)
