Hey Guys,

This is for both 'scorts and non-'scorts who like to have a good tan to show off that "healthy, activity-oriented look."

My favorite 'scort admitted to me that for his age, he has the beginnings of a bit more wrinkles than the average guy at his age, likely due to the years of sun and tanning salons, etc., with no sun screen usage of any kind.

I have always tried to remind him about the dangers of skin cancers, but it seems that the potential for Roberet Redford type wrinkles in a few years is more disturbing to him than melanoma.

I am sure that this is a typical attitude from a lot of folks, escorts or not.

However, to be proactive in this, rather than let someone just continue on their merry way without any type of options, allow me to pose this question to folks here: are there ALTERNATIVES to Mr. Sun or Ms. Artificial Light, such as bronzers or those carrot(?) extract pills that I've seen advertised on the muscle mags?

I know that these two products are not "natural" in the sense that we like things to be natural, but neither is shaving, or styling one's

hair, or dyeing one's hair a different color necessarily"natural", so please let me know what other alternatives are out there for folks who just have to keep a deep tan on them to "look good."

Thanks!

:p

RE: Alternatives to Tan Salons

The bronzers really do work and if you beleive the tabloids, a lot of celebrities use the stuff. I've used several brands you get at walmart and they seem to work. Just a couple words of caution:

-- first, make sure it dries before putting on anything white -- i went for a jog and my white t-shirt and white underwear were stained. And I would shower before jumping into bed with white sheets.

-- make sure someone gets your back and other hard to reach areas or you will look deformed.

-- do not confuse this for a tan -- i know someone who used the stuff to build a base before he went to the beach -- it wans't pretty.

I used to frequent tanning salons for years and then wised up to the dangers of possible skin cancer and premature wrinkles.Bronzers and self tanning cremes are two differnt products. Bronzers are better for the face, and wash right off after one application. Self tanning cremes produce a "tan" on your skin from a chemical in the creme and last for 3 to 5 days and then "fade" like a real tan. Self-tanning cremes have come a long way in recent years and produce a much more natural looking healthy " golden brown glow" and not the unsightly "orange" tint like the old versions in the past. Different brands produce different results for individuals, so you have to experiment until you find a brand that produces the best results for you. also the way you apply it is important. a really great website for product reviews and tips on self tanners is:

good luck and thanks for warning all those escorts and clients out there that look great now from their sun worshiping and tanning salon appointments, but may regret it later.
