I've been a lurker here for some months, and just noticed that several of the really superb escorts in Las Vegas have left the business, namely, Adam, Mike Stefano, and Stefan LaCoste. It appears they all stopped escorting around the same time. Anyone know what's up with that? All very nice guys and wonderful escorts.

Yes well said though untrue. i won't post Stephan's email sent to those on his list here as I think of it as not for public consumption, though I am sure if you ask he would send you a copy. Well if you have been lurking you would have read that Mike posted he quit escorting, Adam was arrested and he and Stephan are escorting on the side so to speak. A low profile approach.

those of us who know Stef on here would not try to hury him or bring disclaim to him. Most of us have know him for some period of time and would not do anything to hurt him. Why do you find it such a big deal that we chat about someone who many of us know and/or many of us have interacted with in this forum? Stef sent a bulk email that was very specific as to what he was up to. Those not on his list are simply curious and concerned.

 

About Adam and Mike they both have said that they have stopped escorting for now. Maybe they'll be back, maybe not

I don't exactly think you don't care. I actually think your intentions are good, but it sounds as if we're talking behind his back. I just think, and I may be dead wrong, that Steph would have posted something in here, if he wanted everybody to know what's going on with him.

 

If I sounded harsh before, I apologize. I just pictured that if I was in his position, and I sent a message to everybody in my list, i wouldn't write in the end "hey, keep this a secret ok?" It would be somewhat unprofessional and silly. But that is me. Everybody is different.

 

I apologize if I offended anybody in any way. Steph is a terrific human being and a personal friend. I guess friends tend to be overprotective of one another.

For what it's worth, Rodrigo, I'll vouch for what a sweet guy you are and that you were just expressing concern for a friend's privacy. :-)

 

It's tricky to know what the parameters should be...how do you draw the line between expressing concern about someone and spreading gossip? It's amazing what I hear about other escorts in the course of seeing clients, and sometimes I feel uncomfortable -- should I be hearing this? -- and yet it's usually not mean-spirited, it's often meant as a type of bonding, and I think in some ways it makes people feel connected (those who feel a sense of community with people from this site). And then there's the fact that, as it's often pointed out, we are public figures of a sort who make a point of keeping our names out there, so gossip (or whatever one calls it) is inevitably part of that process, and it may not be so easy to withdraw our names immediately when we want to. Anyway, as Oscar Wilde knew, it's when they're NOT talking about you that you worry. All we can do is say or not say whatever we care to and let the speculation run its course and hopefully blow over.

 

But I'm glad you brought it up. It's good for people to ask themselves every now and then if the person they're talking about would rather they weren't. (That's why a lot of things don't make it into my diary... :7)
