 His ad also uses he word or abbreviation “amp” several times.  Can someone help me out on what “amp” is or stands for?

Amp is a problem with the written text. I see it a lot. Some software problem or something. It usually shows up when the writer is using some punctuation, like a comma or semi-colon.

In this case it’s an ampersand 🙂

 

Also the discounts for fit seem to be a selection option on that site and I see it a lot. I wouldn’t read too much into it. If he wrote it in his profile text then it would seem to be more of a potential flag.

If I were in Chicago, I'd contact him.  It would have to be an in-call as I don't mess with Uber.  The discounts are a double-edged sword.  He's going to say "You are not VGL, $50 more" ? Or, which would he rather have a foul-smelling, 20-year-old college troll or a handsome, fit 60-year-old?
