Puccini and R Strauss in several operas, captured the  essence of orgasm with series of chords that build tension, back off, build again, sustaining more tension, climbing an enormous precipice of subtle discord until… a breath, and explosive release to harmony. sometimes followed with final resolution that has little ups and downs, and leaves you with the final feeling of “I need a cigarette”. Strauss’ Rosenkavalier Trio. Once you find a vid clip on line approx the length of the musical selection, listen to the music, watching video muted. Some people don’t feel that kind of music - it is NOT all about that bass - it’s a wall of sound that reaches to your very core if you let it.

Barber’s (ubiquitous) Adagio for Strings another one to try. Breathe with it.

Duet from Butterfly Act I.

Wagner Liebestod

People ask how the language and shrillness can be hot. In music esp rock shows off range to express emotion, so it’s not unique for opera. Can’t say it’s everyone’s expression of passion. This is for slow-paced sex.
Don’t focus on the words, let the wall of sound wash over you.
Try a slow stroke, breathe along with the music, with the singer(s) - the effect is almost tantric. Conscious engagement with your pelvic floor to the deep breathing, which is exactly the singer’s experience (on a good night) try to resist any grinding/thrusting and use abdominal isolations thru your core. Encore!

When you find the classical (esp opera) piece that fits your sexual rhythm, it’s magical. Younger people will want to boost the bass

Years ago I was team-teaching a humanities course with an older female colleague. Part of my task was to provide appropriate music from 19th century composers, so one day I brought a recording of the "Liebestod" to play for the class. As we were listening, I saw my colleague become redder and redder in the face. After class was dismissed, I asked her if she was OK;  she said, "That woman was having a sexual climax!"
