Two weeks ago I cancelled a trip to Las Vegas due to the uptick in covid cases.  The Excalibur, on the Southern end of the Strip, was offering room rates at $0 and guests were only charged the taxes/fees, coming to under $50 per night total.

Yes, for those planning LV trips, watch out for resort fees. Mid-level hotels have stunningly low weekday rates these days, but the mandatory resort fee can often be more than the room rate!

Avoid AirBnBs especially anything near the strip. For the most part, they are actually illegal there and I had a terrible experience with one last time I was there. Just get a hotel, but yeah the resort fees can be insane.

I’ll have go back for the Bobbie. I had their other signature for lunch today, the “Capistrami”!

In Nevada restaurants, are they required to put labels on meals indicating how many calories each serving contains? The above looks like a gazillion.

Many states require it. Big national chains often do it chainwide since it’s easier to do all then some.

I was recently in Las Vegas.  I communicated with LeonardoBrazil and he was a no-show.
