Bling Empire

Never heard of this Netflix show until a neighbor friend told me how he stumbled upon this last night and ended up binge-watching the stuff. Anybody heard of this and/or would recommend?

I watched the whole thing over a week's time. It's like the movie Crazy Rich Asians in an extended format. I found it entertaining. The rivalry between two of the women on the show is hilariously interesting. Kevin's best friend Kane I find annoying. Although he does appear to be a great friend.

 

A lot of the women are drop dead gorgeous. Although some of their attitudes about things leaves much to be desired. The only men on the show I found attractive are Kevin (the heart and lead of the show). He's like a big dumb sexy puppy. LOL!

 

The other guy is the actor Andrew. The only thing he's known for is being a Power Ranger. Sadly, even though he's very handsome, he's so emotionally screwed up, controlling, and rather abusive toward his girlfriend in the show.

I guess it‘s the asian version of Real Housewives. It’s light entertaining fodder, but i don‘t think truly representative of most of the truly rich ones. As in all these reality shows, drama and bling sells.
