Last week I received a bad review from someone I never met and they blocked me on RM messenger so I have no way to resolve the issue. I don’t even know what the issue is where this person felt the need to tarnish my rep.

Yes it happens and it will affect your business.

 

Contact RM webmaster and tell them what happened and ask them to delete it because it's fake. You should also consider texting your regulars and ask them to review you on RM in order to bury that review till RM finally decides to delete it. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them will hire you just to make it up for your potential "stalker". I don't know how close you're to your regulars, it's up to you to decide who you should contact or not.

Also....sometimes when faced with a lousy review, the escort will add a short statement at the end of their own advert saying the review is fake or posted by someone you never met (or posted by someone you would like to meet in order to pound the shit of him).....the escort’s words are usually believed without question....in your case, with a good rep backing you up, change usually to always.

All good advice posted above.

 

When you contact RM (and you said you never met the person), RM will look for communication back and forth between you two. If there is no written communication, most likely RM will remove the bad review if you request it.

 

Incidentally, that same reviewer wrote a similarly negative review on a different escort. Maybe he is confused. Good luck in having the review removed.

How long has it been since you requested the review be removed?

 

You wrote that you never met with the client. However, did you message each other through the rentmen site?

 

If you did message each other, rentmen will likely not remove the review until it is time to renew your ad or if you threaten to cancel your ad because of the bogus review.

 

Money talks. Rentmen makes the majority of its money from provider advertising. If advertisers leave, rentmen's wallet gets hurt.

 

If the review is not removed within a few more days, ask rentmen again. If the review stays, you can nicely threaten to cancel your ad or you can establish a new ad and the bad review will not follow you.

I thought RM recently changed it where you could only leave a review if you had corresponded with the escort on their messenger system due to fake reviews. But I know a lot of people just contact the escort directly via text so that would stop a lot of clients from leaving a review.

 

An escort I met with once said sometimes in cities like NYC competing escorts will leave bad reviews with a fake name.

 

But it also works the other way as way, an escort can create a ghost account and leave a good review of have friends leave good reviews. Met an escort recently that was the worst experience I've ever had with an escort but he was wall reviewed.

This is slight off topic and think was discussed here before just can't fine the thread...

How do you read Rentmen reviews? I am subscribed to the site , free section, but only see basics in the review , time spent , star rating , would hire again etc. , no descriptions. Obviously take them with grain of salt since clearly they can be fake but just curious how you access actual review.

I've asked Rentmen staff and they said just click on the profile thats it , lol ...no help.

For some reason the text of reviews on RM are only available to international users. The simplest way to read the reviews is to get a free VPN off the Internet. You can then set yourself to a foreign country and you’ll be able to read the reviews. I set myself to West Germany.

I had the opposite problem happen to me. I had an awful hiring experience in Detroit recently and left a negative review on rentmen and they removed it. The escort had 10+ positive reviews and complained about my negative review and apparently said I didn't meet him

 

I messaged him on the rentmen site through their IM system so it is clear to them that I at least set up an appointment with him.

 

He's a gold escort and I have a free basic account so maybe that is why they are siding with him. Makes reviews useless though if they are removing negative reviews or allowing fake reviews.
