Overnights and working

I find this interesting. I flew a companion to the city I was visiting. I set up the flights and covered the ticket. I also covered all meals and ground transportation to and from airport. Is that pretty standard? I just assumed I needed to cover all expenses.

 

Yes, I think so. I cover all transportation and meals along with any admission or cover charges to any movies/museums/plays/clubs, etc. and any drinks or snacks at those places. Before they come to visit, I try to find out if they prefer a particular soda or snacks and I try to have those on hand. Also, i try to have fresh fruit and bottled water always available too.

 

It's no different than having any other respected guest in your home.
