Late night appointments. Okay? Not okay? Why?

Most of my hiring is done when I travel and when I'm on vacation I don't like to sleep much so I stay up really late, alone in my hotel room drinking some beers and surfing the web... sometimes I like company at 3 or 4am. And I'm perfectly sane. Not all of us who hire late are total creeps. I think I'm a pretty great client, actually.

 

Do you wake them up that late for them to come to see you?

On business trips, I usually have work dinners that run into who knows how long. I always book my dates around 10:30 with the warning that it may be slightly later if dinner runs late. That way I don’t have to stress about looking for someone after dinner and the escort has an idea that the time may run a little later. I do try to aim for earlier if i don’t have plans as I would hate to have the escort wait in the lobby as most elevators require card access during the late hours.

Do you wake them up that late for them to come to see you?

 

At that late hour I only reach out to the providers who are "online now" or "available now" on RM, so I don't think I'm waking them up or bothering them too much. I wouldn't contact someone who, at 3am, hasn't logged on in 4 hours or so. I would assume that person is sleeping.
