I’m a sucker for costume dramas the earlier the better. So of course I latched on to Netflix new series Kinghtfall. It centers on the Knights Templar in XIII century Paris. In about episode 3 Pope Boniface the ? shows up played by none other than Jim Carter, Carson of Downton Abbey. He plays it with the same sort of haughter Carson displayed but with a flashier costume. But he does have a sort of papal nose. What a hoot!!
