However, the closer you get to your travel date the more expensive the Heathrow Express gets, and I agree Elizabeth eventually wins on price. Also if your final destination is somewhere along the Elizabeth Line other than Paddington Station, the convenience of not switching trains comes into play as well. However, the Elizabeth only goes to Heathrow Terminals 4 & 5 (my usual terminals) every 30 minutes. The Heathrow Express is every 15 minutes. Both trains service terminals 2 & 3 every 15 minutes.
