Tammy Baldwin pushes back against Marco Rubio for his remarks about legislative protections for same-sex marriages

According to HuffPost, Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisc.) pushed back against Rubio’s assessment of the bill where he called it a “stupid waste of time.” Rubio’s remarks were reportedly made in close proximity to Baldwin, who is considered to be the U.S. Senate’s first openly gay elected lawmaker.
