Majority Of Americans Say Gay Marriage Is Good For Society As Senate Debates Same-Sex Marriage Bill

A recent poll by the Pew Research Center found that 61 percent of people described same-sex marriage as good for society. Whereas 37 percent described it as a negative and 3 percent didn’t answer. The figure has held relatively steady from a similar poll in 2019.
